rebuilding together  Austin SAN ANTONIO (RTASA)

We envision safe homes and communities for everyone.

To make this a reality, we are repairing homes, revitalizing communities and rebuilding lives.

New Name, New Opportunity!!

Greetings from your Rebuilding Together leadership team! By now you’ve probably heard that Rebuilding Together Austin has changed its name. Two former central Texas affiliates have joined forces and will now be known as Rebuilding Together Austin San Antonio (RTASA). In addition to the name change, we have also drawn together leaders from both organizations to create a single board of directors to provide oversight for all of our activities throughout the Austin and San Antonio communities. Each affiliate has provided more than a decade of service in its respective city, and we have now joined forces to better leverage our resources and work more efficiently together as one combined affiliate. This marks a new chapter for both organizations and we look forward to continuing to raise the bar on the home renovation and safety improvement services we provide.

What excites me most about this change is not simply the new name. The reach of our new combined service area will enable us to serve over 5 million people, including San Antonio, Austin, and everywhere in between. As both cities continue to grow, defining where one stops and the other starts has become increasingly challenging. But we now have an opportunity to say “YES” to any clients, community partners, or sponsorships that want to contribute to safe and healthy housing, regardless of which city they call home.

To be clear, nothing at all has changed about our mission. We will continue to provide home repair and safety services to those who need them and at no cost to homeowners, just like we always have. We have plenty of home repair projects coming up through the remainder of this year and we look forward to seeing you soon at one of them. Onward to broader horizons under the new banner of RTASA!

If you’d like to learn more about our organization (whether as volunteer, sponsor, or community partner), give us a call at 512-993-8230 or visit our website at www.rtasa.org.

Thanks again for all of your support!
